Over 50 Blogs and Over 50 Chat Online

I thought it was kind of interested to go through the Over 50 Blogs on Senior Friend Finder, just to see the variety of people that were my age - and older - who are out there looking for friends and romance! I found everything from sweet musings that my teenaged daughter would think were corny to a long haired guy who must have left his soul back in 1968 (not always a bad thing, in my humble opinion).

If you ever heard the muse, you can get your own OVER 50 SINGLES blog to let people hear your unique voice, or you can browse other people’s and maybe get a good idea who you would like to be friend’s (or more) with! If you’d like, you can also do the over 50 chat thing, which is a quick way to engage in conversation. I mean, those other sites can brag about all of the personality tests they want, but I don’t think anything beats reading what people have to say, and engaging them in some chat. Even if you’re not really ready to find your lifetime love, this looks like a good way to make some friends online.

A lot of people our age have a harder time going out to meet people. In fact I just watched a TV article about a very obese woman who got the support she needed to lose weight by meeting people online. She felt that people - outside of cyberspace - did not accept her when they saw how she looked. She made friends online, got support, and found herself so engaged in her new friendships she forgot to eat so much! O.K. it could be a bit of replacing one obsession for another, but maybe it’s not that bad!

Anyway, if you’re feeling a lack of normal human contact in your life, why not try to hook up in a friendly place online?
