Lots of people wonder about sports and exercise after 50. It is common for people to visit us here, wondering what exercises are safe to do past their 50th birthday. They are concerned about overtaxing their heart or straining their muscles.

But obviously the search for a safe workout is not why the Unigeezer found us!  He is a 52 year old who engages in the extreme, dangerous sports of mountain unicycling. You have heard of mountain biking, right? Well, this is like that but with only one wheel.

Apparently this sport is known as MUNI for Mountain UNIcycling, and as you browse his website, you may wonder why a 30 year old would try it. But I have to give the Unigezzer credit, because he certainly doesn’t let his half century plus age slow him down phyiscially or mentally. I think that people like him serve as an inspiration and motivation for all of us. I know that after I visited Unigeezer – Mountain Unicyling After 50,  I was so interested in the photos and videos of mountain unicycling that I ran out of excuses, and just had to jump on my 2 wheeler. Don’t worry, I just cruised around the neighborhood.

Who knows? Some of my readers may be bored with the health club or stationary bike. It may be time to pick up a new hobby. Meet Terry Peterson, and learn about mountain uni-biking here: Unigeezer

Wow!, and I thought bouncing on my mini trampoline was extreme. The Unigeezer is inspiring. Stay active to stay young.
