A Full Belly in the Morning Helps us Stick to Diets all Day!
Your doctor, your mom, and you all know this is true. A good breakfast can help you feel better, and also stick to your healthy diet all day. But nobody says you have to eat your breakfast! You can also drink your breakfast, and this is what I like to do. Of course, some people accuse me of only liking to drink cofee for breakfast, but that’s why I should be convincing! I don’t like to eat breakfast, but I can get myself to enjoy a smoothie in the moring.
Now beware of smoothies sold out in the world. A lot of them are landmines of sugar and calories. If you can make your smoothie at home, you can control all of that. With the right equipment, it only takes a few seconds, so go for it.

My Magic Bullet Diet Smoothie
Variety is the spice of life, and you all know I never measure anything. But this simple mix comes out great every time, plus it makes me feel good about staving off hunger, satisfying my sweet tooth, and getting some great health food in my body. I also use these for evening snacks sometimes.
You need:
- 1/2 cup skim milk, soy milk, yogurt, or juice
- 1 Fruit which could be 1 banana, 1/2 apple and 1/2 pear, etc. Just add some fruit.
- About 1/2 cup of ice.
- Extras – You can add protein powder if you want to, a pinch of flax seeds, or whatever else you need to get down in the morning.
Just get all that blended up well, and you have a great smoothie. I prefer using milk, or a milk substitute, because of the protein. But if that isn’t something you choose, you may want to add a little protein powder instead.
Sometimes the taste is not sweet enough, so I had a little stevia. To me, this is as satisfying as a milk shake, but it is much better for me. I use it to replace breakfast, and it seems to tide me over until lunch time.
