I support Hillary Clinton
Who Do You Support?
| OK, I know Hillary Clinton does not appear to be winning at the moment, and I think that is a shame. However, I have been a lifelong Democrat, and am not in the mood to do any other-candidate bashing on a lack of substance(what’s his name?) right now. If you supported Senator Clinton, and are sort of feeling like West Virginia was just torture, or if you cannot understand how anybody would support Hillary, I urge you to visit HillaryClinton.com. You will either get a pick-me-up or an education.
Ummm, well I’ve been a life long Democrat, but I have just picked up on a new movement for Hillary Clinton. Consider Hillary Clinton in Operation Independent. Actually the speculation that Sen. Clinton may run as an independent comes from even more serious sources then MySpace. Well, actually it may come from people of about the same age as MySpace Users, since it was on the Student Operated Press: Hillary Clinton May Run As Independent. If you think this is a rediculous notion, or perhaps wishful thinking, then consider how different this race would be right now if Michigan and Florida would have been normal states this year. I don’t see how the Democratic party could decide to disallow these primaries, and the votes of millions of people, because the state did not follow their schedule. |

Well, this post surprised me, and it also stirred up a lot of thoughts.
I don’t think the Democratic party acted in the best interest of the people by refusing to seat Florida and Michigan, and in Texas - what is that crazy system they have anyway?
However, as much as I supported Clinton, I would hate to see a Repub in the White House because Clinton pulls a Ralph Nader. I am concerned enough about Ralph Nader pulling a Ralph Nader. If this turns out to be an Obama/McCain race, I would support Obama. This kids, is known as compromise.
On my third hand (LOL) if we do have a strong 3rd party candidate like Ralph Nader, maybe it wouldn’t be so bad to have a 4th. Now that would certainly be a “change”, right? Maybe, as the Al Gore’s “loss” showed us in 2000, our current system is archaic, and it needs to be fixed to really reflect the will of the people.
So I need some time to digest the thought of Hillary Clinton as an independent, but it is worth a thought.
