Ok, there is no doubt that it is a great way to divert our attention from other matters, and sometimes, it can even be a little addictive. But you can realize a lot of benefits from web surving, so you may not actually be wasting time playing Bejeweled for the 100th time today after all.

And in fact, the study showed that more experienced web users got more benefits than beginners. They meaured brain activity and blood flow to key brain centers. It is great to know that.
Of course, surfing the internet can have a lot of other benefits for middle aged people and senior citizens. Online social sites help older people stay in touch with family and old classmates, and can help them make new friends too. In all, the internet revolution has been a big boost for older people, especially those who cannot get around like they used to.
