Dental Care After Retirement?

You know, improved dental care during our whole lives means that many of us are not toothless old hags at all! We still need to care for our teeth, or our dentures, or our crowns, or whatever. What I do see, is that most of the retirement health plans lack dental care, and the few that have any, have very limited coverage.

And yet, retirement age is when many of us really start needing more expensive services to preserve the pearly whites. Crowns and dentures are expensive dental services for everybody, costing in the thousands, and we really need some way to plan for these expenses. Note: The last statistic I saw couted about 100 million people who lacked dental benefits in the US, which is twice the number who lacked health benefits.
