Remake of Michael Jackson / Lionel Richie We Are The World
I can remember when the original We Are The World for Africa played on the radio every hour or so. It was the sort of
song that just did not seem to wear itself out. Of course, back in those days, I was more into music, and knew all the singers by voice. I also posted the video of the original, and I think you will enjoy a little time travel!
The remake has none of the original singers, except for a posthumous appearance by Michael Jackson. Not all of the voices are from youngsters though. You will see and hear some golden oldies like Randy Jackson, Barbra Steisand, Janet Jackso and Tony Bennet!
The conductors are Lionel Richie and Quincy Jones.
Enjoy the We are the World remake video and introduction!
